General Entry Requirements
Malaysian Applicants
Malaysian citizens holding a valid MyKad who have passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination with a minimum of FIVE (5) credits, including Bahasa Melayu, and a pass in Sejarah.
Malaysian citizens with qualifications other than SPM examination is subjected to the University’s academic requirements as stipulated by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) for O-Level or equivalent entry qualifications.
*Note:
Malaysian applicants enrolled in FCC who intend to progress to a Bachelor’s degree at UNIMAS must have passed SPM with a minimum of a Credit in Bahasa Melayu and a Pass in Sejarah.
International Applicants
Applications from non-Malaysians are subject to the University’s academic entry requirements, as stipulated in the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) entry requirements for O-Level or equivalent qualifications.
Specific Entry Requirements
- Obtained at least grade C in the following papers:
- Mathematics
- English
- Any ONE (1) subject in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering.
AND
Obtained at least grade C in ONE (1) other SPM subject, excluding Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah.
*International applicants must obtain at least grade C in ONE (1) other subject in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering.
