Course Synopsis
Entry Requirement
(i) Malaysian Citizen
Applicants must be a MyKad holder and passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination with a minimum of FIVE (5) credits including in the Bahasa Melayu paper, and passed the History paper. Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) may be considered.
(ii) Non-Malaysian Citizen
Applications from non-Malaysians are subject to the University’s academic entry requirements, as stipulated in the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) entry requirements for O-Level or equivalent qualifications.
MODULE A: LIFE SCIENCE
- Programme Code: W0030A
- Duration of Study: 2 Semesters
Obtained at least grade C in the following papers:
- Biology
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- English
AND
Obtained at least grade C in ONE (1) of the STEM, Pengajian Islam, or Kemanusiaan dan Sastera elective papers.
Non-Malaysian applicants must obtain at least grade C in ONE (1) other STEM paper.
AND
Passed the Additional Mathematics paper.
AND
Does not have any physical disability or learning difficulty that may hinder practical learning activities.

MODULE B: PHYSICAL SCIENCE

- Duration of Study: 2 Semesters
Obtained at least grade C in the following papers:
- Physics
- Additional Mathematics
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- English
AND
Obtained at least grade C in ONE (1) of the STEM, Pengajian Islam, or Kemanusiaan dan Sastera elective papers.
Non-Malaysian applicants must obtain at least grade C in ONE (1) other STEM paper.
AND
Does not have any physical disability or learning difficulty that may hinder practical learning activities.
